Host Gator Offers New Billing Software

Web hosting provider Host Gator (hostgator.com) announced on Thursday it has added new billing software for all its reseller and dedicated hosting plans. The software is available to all new and existing customers.
Host Gator has licensed the billing solution WHMCompleteSolution to provide it free of charge for all its clients, which typically sells for $249 at WHMCS' website (whmcs.com). WHMCS provides automated, flexible and easy-to-use client management and billing for Web hosts and online businesses.

The solution includes comprehensive support features including a support ticket system, knowledgebase, downloads area and server status overview. It automatically creates, suspends and terminates accounts while providing complete automated billing processes with accounting features and reports, says the company. Host Gator has also increased disk space and bandwidth for all its shared hosting plans, while reducing prices.

"Billing is a critical part of the hosting business and we want to do everything we can to streamline this process for our resellers," says Brent Oxley, president and founder of Host Gator. "WHMCS is a top of the line billing solution that will make life easier for many of our reseller partners."

Host Gator announced earlier this month it is offering Soholaunch Website Builder for Business for free as part of Host Gator's portfolio of hosting solutions.
